SPC-001 - This is Mud Pie.
He is a pitiful, dirty-faced angel. The last of his hair was long ago harvested by the birds as nesting material. You might just feel like a kid again when you work with this unique technique to create the sweet face of this endearing angel.

In addition to the simple applique, Maria added an interesting technique to give some of the embroidery a raised / sculpted look. Complete instructions are given for felting and dying your own wool.

SPC-007 - Floppy Bunnies and Baby Chicks
Made of old thrift store sweaters, Maria says these floppy bunnies remind her of sock monkeys. Their curious faces and lumpy bodies give them the look of a home made toy - loved by a child and taken everywhere including a day of splashing in mud puddles. The chick stitchery and it's simple rhyme is a perfect companion for the bunnies. This would be a wonderful first stitchery for the beginner or a quick "weekend" project for an advanced stitcher.
