JULY 4th, 2000 Celebration
The Place to Be!
Bay City is know throughout the mid-west for it's traditional 4th of July Festival. For the entire weekend the riverfront is alive with music, rides, food, shows, food, entertainment, food, and FIREWORKS!
On July 1, 2000 things were just kicking off. Food tents were going up all over the downtown area. The entertainment had already started. The fireworks were in place. Everyone was getting EXCITED!
Today is Monday, July 3 and preparations are on for the grand fireworks spectacular. Tonight's show will be about an hour long and should be fantastic. The river is filling with boats, the shores are filling with spectators, and the show should be great!
If you can get here at all, Bay City is where you should be this weekend. Everyone's welcome!
